Last 2 weeks in London/ it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas :-)

Well after Stratford Upon Avon I was pretty worn out, but that didn't stop me from partying in flat 1... go figure :-)
On Sunday I arrived back to my flat around 7PM after standing for 2 hours on a train - it was intense. But strong pong was calling my name. Haha, and who are we kidding - I wasn't going to get any work done!
Lets just keep it to this: that Sunday was definitely one of the wildest nights in London. If not THE wildest.
What we learned:
1. stick to strongbow
2. buy enough strongbow so you don't run out
3. playing flip cup with gin/ wine is a bad idea
Anyways... most of us didn't feel well the next day, but it was nice while it lasted. :-)
Monday I went and saw a concert at St. Martin in the Fields. It was nice to walk to Trafalgar. I randomly found a booth in China Town that sold fried pork dumplings which certainly helped with my poor state.
Tuesday was Katherine O's 21st birthday! A group of us went out to Sports Cafe and it was an overall nice time.
Friday I ended up deathly ill. All of a sudden I woke up that morning with a massive fever and the chills... go figure... it's weird how life happens. I wasn't back to normal until Monday; the rest of the weekend I was bedridden. However I did manage to get a decent amount of my work done... I wrote my 2 final papers and my final review.
For our last music class with Professor Oehler Chris and I performed the Villa Lobos then everyone presented their London themes. I awkwardly talked about salsa dancing... yea... it was really awkward. I'm not great at talking about dancing... lol
Our Shakespeare final on Wednesday was not too difficult.

(drinking from the treasure chest... *sigh* lol, it was like a Dublin reunion)

Wednesday night was ridiculous. Plain ridiculous. We went to Mahiki, a REALLY nice club across the street from the Ritz. We all made it home safe... and I'm going to be thanking god for that for the next few months... good grief

Thursday night was when it sunk in things were over. First I went to eat at the Crypt Cafe with Heather, Mary, Laura, and Esther. This also included seeing the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square, which was fun (although the tree was rather pathetic, lol...). Then the rest of the night I hung out in flat 1. It was really sad to be in there for the last time... a place where we had all shared so many great memories. Sapna and I went back to my room after saying goodbye to the guys and listened to sad songs until 3:30AM... haha, in retrospect that was a really good time. We talked about how much we had learned all semester and reminisced about all of our experiences.

The last day deserves it's own entry :-)
